Welcome to House of Stone’s range of period carvings and mouldings. We are based in one of the five towns of Stoke-on-Trent, an area known the world over for hand crafted skills.
Each component in our range has been identified from dated books or items of architecture depicting a different historic era. From this concept a hand carved original is fashioned and an exact replica is produced capturing all the beauty and wood grain one would expect from genuine hardwood.
Customers can apply direct to the carving a stain, paint, lacquer or varnish of any choice or system they require, to achieve their own particular finish. Each item is perfectly flat for excellent fixing, using headless pins, P.V.A, or cynoacrylate glue.
